As an enthusiastic and self-driven Account Manager, you will work towards achieving profitable sales targets and develop market penetration/expansion objectives that support strategic plans for growth within a designated business area and territory.

The Account Manager owns the sales growth and relationship of assigned OEM accounts. Plans, coordinates and executes all sales efforts to achieve targeted growth and wallet share gain by maintaining a professional relationship with each customer and by working closely with the Danfoss Business Units

**Responsibilities**:

- Develops and executes targeted growth plans for customer base to meet or exceed target goals and strategic objectives. Focus is to be on growth and maintaining strong business relationship,
- Identifying new sales opportunities, managing leads, opportunities in the CRM system,
- Establishing strong and healthy relationships with different stakeholders in existing accounts,
- Coordinate and partner with internal stakeholders to ensure high levels of support and communication to assigned customers.
- Effective management of customer relations to increase sales and customer satisfaction,
- Develops broad relationships at customer (Top down) to cover key decision makers and critical departments that will support specification and purchase of our products,
- Ensure operational alignment with customers
- Coordinates special marketing or growth program sales efforts as requested. Develops and coordinates focused sales plans to maximize sales penetration,
- Prepares and submits routine call reports, monthly reports, action plan updates, operating plan updates, Expense reports and other sales-oriented documents in a timely fashion,
- Maintains records in an organized and accurate manner for performance analysis, follow up and good record keeping.

**Background & Skills**:
**Basic Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
- Min 5 years of experience in the hydraulic industry
- Able to operate in a complex and international network
- Fluent in Italian and English
- Ability to travel

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred
- Experience in hydraulic industry sales preferred
- Portuguese or Spanish is a plus
