**ABOUT GENERATOR VENICE**

It’s not hard to find beauty in a marble city built on alagoon, but away from the obvious sights and monuments, across bridges, downbackstreets and into secret squares, you’ll discover the hidden corners whereVenetians hang out. Because if you want to find the real Venice, you have toget lost.

Generator Venice stands on the waterfront of the islandof Giudecca, one short stop on the Vaporetto from Piazza San Marco. Thishostel was originally a warehouse, so the building blends history and characterwith contemporary design features.

Inside the Generator Venice hostel you’ll find luxuriousmosaic floors, a glass chandelier and an imposing stone fireplace. Publicspaces are subtly split into intimate and open-plan areas - all surrounding thebar and café. Every room has a view of either the gardens, Lido, Grande Canalor the iconic San Marco. Not bad for a hostel, aye?

**NUTS AND BOLTS OF THE JOB**
- Preparingalcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and cocktails for bar customers
- Interactingwith customers, taking orders and serving food where necessary
- Accuratelyand promptly fulfil guest orders and resolve guest complaints
- Provide thebest service by understanding all aspects of product knowledge for the creationand dispense of drinks and table maintenance
- Maintain aconsistent service, following company standards & procedures
- BeResponsible for all cash handling whilst you are on duty
- Know allstatutory legislation and ensure H&S, Fire Safety and Food Hygienecompliance

**YOUR ROCK STAR EXPERIENCE**
- Previousexperience behind the bar in a busy, fast-paced restaurant environment
- Solidknowledge of coffees, wines, liquor and champagnes
- Involvementin Cocktail development and training
- Stock andwaste accountability
