Ict Infrastructure Operations

Your Role Reporting directly to the ICT Director, as the ICT Infrastructure & Telecoms Services Manager, youwill be accountable for the integrity and performance of TAPs ICT Infrastructure and Telecoms service. Key components of this role are the maintenance of both service areas ensuring provision from service contracts is within parameters agreed in the appropriate SLAs. You would also play a strong role in the ICT Governance.
You will be based in Melendugno, Italy, and you will travel occasionally to TAP Headquarters in Switzerland, as well as in Greece and Albania whenever required.
In this role you will be responsible for:
Gathering and Assessing needs on central & distributed infrastructure and telecommunication network on IT and OT environments. Operating, planning, developing and optimising ICT infrastructure (OT and IT):
data centre (Cloud and OnPrem), operating system, virtualization software and system software Operating, planning, developing and optimising workplace services:
PC, tablets, smartphones, printers; defining capacity planning, refreshing cycles planning, servicing assurance Operating, planning, developing and optimising field communication services, such as:
AON-OTN, leased lines, critical comm systems (i.e DMR), satellite phones, VOIP, crisis room & other infrastructure Operating, planning, developing and optimising corporate communication services:
mobile and fixed lines, wi-fi, internet access, videoconference & other collaboration tools Providing service assurance and end users support on infrastructure and telecommunications Developing and managing budget in own field of responsibility Coordinating the Global Service Desk Managing and Monitoring of the KPIs and SLAs of all the services provided in the company ICT service catalogue As TAPs ICT Infrastructure & Telecoms ServicesManager you will need to perform on-call duties.
Your Profile
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Information Sciences, preferably in the field of IT infrastructure management. Masters Degree and ITIL, Azure and Cisco certifications will be an asset At least 10 years of experience in IT department and at least 5 years in the position (Infrastructure and Network Service Management) Experience in complex network and security systems:
WLAN, LAN, VLAN, WAAN, remote connections, VPN, firewalls and security, antivirus programmes, spam filters, unified communications Profound IT knowledge:
Understanding of IT infrastructure architectures, modern workplaces, networking principles & standards, networking protocols, networking systems and devices, cloud environments (Azure & 365) Video Conferencing Systems and Virtual PBX Profound OT knowledge:
Understanding of OT infrastructure architectures, level 2 and 3 networking principles, integrations with PLC systems, fibre optics standards Profound ICT knowledge of Meraki networks, Cisco and Azure Virtual Networks Profound ICT knowledge of Firewall technologies (Palo Alto networks and Azure Firewall) Profound ICT knowledge of ITSM standards Experience in Project Management and Service Management Experience in High Availability and Disaster Recovery processes oriented to the Global Business Continuity process Experience in infrastructure capacity planning both on premise and through cloud services Experience in Contracts and Tender management Good knowledge of network security principles and solutions Good knowledge of network troubleshooting principles and techniques Able to work under pressure and time constraints Able to adapt quickly to changing situations Flexible with can do attitude Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English language. Ideally you are fluent in Italian as well, Greek and Albanian an advantage.
