**Summary**

Covering this role, you’ll have the opportunity to lead a Production Department in our Medolla Plant, managing 60+ resources with different seniority and experience.

You’ll collaborate with other functions as Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, R&D etc.., to meet business goals and improve every day our processes.

You’ll be a direct report of the Sr Production Manager in Medolla.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Manage and organize manufacturing activities and resources to company KIP’s
- Collaborate with the engineering and maintenance department for the continuous improvement of production and for the development of new technologies
- Support and incentive production improvement and optimization activities
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Control and Supply Chain to drive a quality/customer oriented culture throughout the department and ensures that the correct infrastructure exists within the department so as to guarantee defect free products/services.
- Collaborate with the R&D department and other plants (in Italy or abroad) in the case of transfer and/or optimization of new processes and/or products
- Provides personnel mentoring, guidance and performance management necessary for their development in order to ensure flexibility and development for current and future organisation needs. Ensure that such development occurs in an environment of empowerment as well as accountability and focus on results.

**What you’ll bring**
- Degree in engineering (better if mechanical engineering or management engineering)
- 3-5 years of experience in managing teams or production departments, preferably in multinational and structured companies
- Excellent leadership and problem solving skills
- Ability to work by objectives
- Ability to work in challenging contexts and fast pace environment
- Fluent knowledge of English
