Accounting Manager

**Responsibilities**:

- Manages of all activities relating to accounts payable and general accounting: day by day accounting operations, supervise monthly closure and reconciliations and ensure accounting transactions are performed correctly on time
- Prepares and closes of the statutory financial statements and group packages in accordance with local GAAP and IFRS and in collaboration with tax consultants and auditors
- Checks of all VAT, tax and legal compliance obligations and declarations
- Checks of bank accounts and related reconciliations
- Interacts with German Corporate for accounting and administration issues
- Manages, updates and optimizes of all administrative-financial processes and procedures in accordance with internal audits rules
- Oversees legal and fiscal Accounting practices and processes
- Drives Accounting projects
- Develops tools, systems, and methods related to Accounting
- Supports organizational continuous improvement process initiatives
- Leads by example and line with the Freudenberg Guiding Principles and the Code of Conduct, while developing employees, driving Talent Acquisition and Management processes, and fostering a proactive work culture

**Qualifications**:

- Degree in Business Administration or similar in the Accounting and Finance areas
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a responsibility role in a modern structured and international company
- Proactive approach, organizational capacity, problem solving, confidentiality, ability to work in a team and leadership experience.
- Good knowledge of tax legislation and general accounting of financial statements in local GAAP and IFRS
- Good knowledge of SAP
- Very good Microsoft Office skills, in particular Excel at an advanced level
- Power BI knowledge is a plus
- Very good written and spoken English
- German and French language knowledge is a plus
