Operational Psychologist

**Clearance**: Secret Security Clearance required

**Education**: Doctor of Philosophy or Doctor of Psychology degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-approved program

**Experience**: Two years post-doctoral experience in the independent practice of psychology, with expertise in clinical psychology, alcohol and substance abuse, trauma, and family/marital issues.

I-2-I Solutions, Inc. is seeking a qualified Operational Psychologist to support the 57th Rescue Squadron (57 RQS) at Aviano Air Base, Italy. This position is critical in enhancing and maintaining the mental performance and readiness of Guardian Angel (GA) operators within the Preservation of the Force and Family (POTFF) Program.

**1.0 Description of Support Requirement**:
The Operational Psychologist will provide expert behavioral sciences consultation to Guardian Angel operators, focusing on organizational, operational, and investigative requirements within the POTFF parameters. The mission is to increase the mental capacity of Rescue Operators, decrease the rate of injuries, and accelerate return-to-duty times.

**2.0 Task Purpose and Overall Objective**:
The overall purpose is to provide expert behavioral sciences consultation to Guardian Angel operations in support of operational and investigative requirements within the POTFF program.

**3.0 Deliverables**:

- Create individualized psychological training programs; designed to maximize the mental performance of individual Rescue Operators for optimal performance per current commercial best practices.
- Psychological Training Program Delivered To Individual Rescue Operator
- Evaluation and Treatment Referral Delivered To Individual Rescue Operator and Squadron Flight Doctor
- Data collection and analyses report
- Analysis and reporting related to the support will be performed during the training cycle and during pre and post deployment training evaluations
- Provide clear, concise documentation for Human Performance analysis
- Maintain education, experience, and certification as per section 4.3
- Dress within reasonable culture and professional norms to support working role within the unit

**5.3 Personnel and Minimum Skill Requirements**:

- Education: Doctor of Philosophy or Doctor of Psychology degree
- Experience: Two years post-doctoral experience
- Must have or be willing to obtain Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape (SERE) training

**8.0 Access to Facilities and Property**:

- Must obtain a Secret Security Clearance
- Must acquire a Flight Line Driver’s License
- Shall enter into a long-term visitor group security agreement if contract performance is required for more than 90 days

**9.0 Bio-Environmental Engineering/Hazmat Requirements**:

- Compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations
- Authorization for ionizing and non-ionizing radiation sources
- Hazardous material use requires prior authorization and reporting

**11.0 Installation Logistical Support (Italy Specific)**:

- Logistical support privileges offered only to eligible U.S. citizens
- Verification System Trusted Agent responsible for verifying eligibility
- Compliance with Italian Government visa and SOFA identification requirements
