**About this opportunity**
We are looking for an Experienced security solution architect, with knowledge on security in Packet Core network functions Individual will be expected to drive and/or participate in customer engagements to defend Ericsson position with our customers. Individual will also be expected to monetize security through security professional services propositions across MELA.
The primary purpose is to:
- Must have deep technical knowledge on 3G, 4G, 5G Packet core 3GPP standards and their interworking with non 3GPP components.
- Should have experience with security controls inside Core network functions and its interworking with other security products and solutions.
- Must have led leadership role and possess strong communication.
- Participation on business development activities to grow security attached to (5G, Packet Core and User management) business in MELA.
- Engage with customers, as well as local teams, on opportunity definition and solutioning proposal, participating in Security specific technical discussions in the area of 5G Core and its inter-relation with infrastructure and orchestration.
- Lead broader community of practitioners in sharing best practices, knowledge management, harvesting and reuse.
- Engage with Customer Units and educate implementation of security in solutions proposed to ensure security and privacy.
- Maintain risk register and have continuous discussion with Business Area to minimize risk.
- Must posses leadership quality to lead the team of security masters, foster collaboration and team work.
- Thrive on innovation to work with Security engineering and PDU (requirements area) to prioritize decisions with respect to security features introduction.
**What you will do**:
- Security broad knowledge, expertise in the 5G core portfolio, network transformation and the e2e technology aspects such as Cloud/NFVi, Containers, Orchestration to support opportunity qualification and the creation of profitable, deliverable, winning proposals with strong influencing skills.
- You must be able to influence the CTO & the CTO Organization on the 5G Core transformation, and lead customer discussion.
- Scope, define and design strategy and solution offerings; driving end-to-end security solutions, by working with core team on strategy, business and technical level, defining business requirements and driving risk assessment.
- Participate in Sales campaigns relating to 5G core introduction, associated business development, asset creation for new solution, strategy definition, value argumentation, key customer visits, sales and delivery readiness strategy.
- Support prioritization discussions between impacted CUs and Solution Area (SA) related to Product roadmaps and quality
- Market knowledge of potential 3PPs that could complement our offering for a joint value proposition and understanding of sourcing / partnering procedures to advise where needed.
- Active participation and drive community / communities from across MELA working within security and Packet Core, to encourage the sharing of knowledge and assets to efficiently harness the full capability of the organization.
- Proactively work position Ericsson as a security conscious vendor for Security business development.
- Accountable for security culture in Chapter.
- Responsible to escalate the security and privacy issues that cannot be handled in the Chapter.
- Help Security Masters within Chapter in non-trivial security and privacy issues as well as contribute with security competence outside Chapter when needed.
- Enable domain primer security masters within CUs to better respond to security requirements in RFx and legal contracts.
- Foster Security knowledge sharing and build repeatable assets for CUs to reuse, including internal roadshows.
- Define Security solution blueprints including 3PP engagement.
- Due-diligence of Risk categorization for key opportunities and security solution approval.
**What will you bring?**
- Education: University degree, BM, MS preferred (engineering)
- Min years of experience: At least 10-12 years of experience in security area with emphasis on delivering consulting projects to telecom service providers or experience working for a Service Provider in a network or operational security role.
- Domain experience: security with User Management, Packet core and cloud understanding
- Knowledge and experience in using key industry security standards defined by ETSI, 3GPP etc
- Ability to lead end-to-end security vulnerability assessments/audits, and be familiar with industry security tools
- Security certifications are a plus (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CCIE, CHFI, CISM)
