**Vento is the Italian chapter of Exor Ventures, a VC fund investing in the best founders globally.**

In Vento, we are focused on three main activities: investments, venture building, and event management.
- Vento Investments invest early-stage startups with exceptional Italian founders.
- Vento Venture Building select top talents pre-idea and pre-team, supporting them in a 5-month company building process.
- The Event Management branch is leading the event Italian Tech Week.

What’s Italian Tech Week:
It’s a 3-day tech conference taking place at the end of September in Turin. We bring on stage the top startup founders, VCs and innovation professionals, and we work to build a strong community of people willing to network, learn from the best, and get inspired during our event.

During the past editions, Italian Tech Week has been defined as the most important event about technology and innovation in Italy and it has hosted on its 3 stages many international guests coming from 10+ countries, such as: Elon Musk, Sam Altman, Brian Chesky, Daniel Ek and Patrick Collison.

In 2024 we will raise the bar: we want the event to gather more and more attendees from around the world, we want to make it easier for people to find the right connections, we want to be mentioned not only at an Italian level but at a European one and we want to create meaningful partnerships with inspiring, top-notch realities.

As an Intern Event Manager at Vento, your main tasks and responsibilities will be:
**Handle event operations from start to finish and according to requirements, target audience, and objectives.** You will manage different tasks to deliver a successful event, with the support of the Event Lead, among them:

- Coordination of the tech communities that organize small events around Turin, in partnership with Italian Tech Week
- Knowledge and management of online registration tools and platforms;
- Management of communication towards guests and audience to ensure a smooth event experience. Assistance to event marketing.

**Brainstorm and implement event plans and concepts. **When organizing an event, it is important to pay attention to detail, as well as not to lose sight of the final goal and all the steps needed to achieve it. You will have to perform your tasks with your brain switched on, consider whether you can improve some process, push the boundaries of creativity and innovation in the event, or simply support your teammates in some other tasks.

**Good knowledge of English**: You can carry on crystal clear communications (both in written and oral form) with our international teammates (a minimum level of B2 is required).

Type of contract:

- 5-month full time **Curricular** internship, to begin in May.
- Remote working is welcomed but we expect you to be on-location a couple of days a week for catch-ups and during event days.

**Requirements**:

- We can only accept Curricular internships in agreement with your university, no extra-curricular internships will be considered.
- Availability to use your own laptop if needed.
