**All about the role**:
Within the company Global R&D site, Advanced Product Development Fabric Care team is looking for a highly motivated profile who will focus on thermodynamics in Tumble Dryers to create innovative, efficient appliances to deliver best-in-class Consumer Experiences.

**A regular day at work**:
In this position, you will be involved in a variety of projects and have a broad range of responsibilities, either leading projects or supporting other project leaders.

You will be interacting globally with different R&D departments as well as with the Business Areas.

**What you will do**:

- Leading projects and delivering results to meet technical targets, deadlines, product and investment costs and satisfy consumer needs as agreed with our internal Stakeholders;
- Experimental analysis, prototype creation, performance testing in our laboratory;
- Modelization and numerical analysis of thermodynamic systems, supporting development and testing;
- Management of external resources as consultants, suppliers and research centers;
- Proposing technical solutions, functionalities and technologies suitable for enabling further product evolution;
- Investigating emerging technologies and components that can be applied to home appliances;
- Interact with our experts in different scientific fields that work in different areas e.g. electronics, chemistry, materials.

**Qualifications**:

- University degree in Thermodynamics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with proven experience/competence in Thermodynamics
- Good knowledge of Heat Pumps main components and principles as: compressor, heat exchangers, thermodynamic balances, system thermodynamic dimensioning
- Use of laboratory equipment such as data loggers, thermocouples, sensing systems, etc.
- Good knowledge about mechanical 3D designing tools (CAD/Catia) as well as simulation environments as MatLab, Phytons,is a plus
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Fluent English
