**Position Summary**:
We're looking for a **Material Planner** in Montano Lucino (CO) location, in Italy.

The Material Planner is responsible for ensuring that the materials and components are available to meet the complete customer demand.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Manage materials stock control within lean principles in line with organizational key performance indicators
- Guarantee material availability in the proper time and quantity accordingly to the production planning
- Ensure regular liaison with suppliers to maintain effective supply and reconcile any production /materials issues regarding schedules
- Provide information for daily production meeting to report on inventory levels and supplier/material issues
- Establish and create cost reduction plans for freight and warehouse costs
- Analyze changing material demand patterns
- Resolve capacity issues by prioritized scheduling and requests
- Maintain Master Data and update MRP settings in SAP
- Manage and update MRP exception messages

**Job Position Requirements**:
**Education**:
University Bachelor Degree in Engineering

Professional background:
1-2 years’ experience as Material Planner in a multinational company, within a lean manufacturing envinronment. Automotive business is preferred.

**Hard Skills**:
Essential:

- Knowledge of SAP and experience with MRP systems
- MS Excel
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines
- Knowledge of industrial manufacturing process
- Extensive experience in expediting materials in a computerized inventory environment
- Excellent command in spoken and written English

Considered as a plus:
Experience working with OEMs

- Must be able to work as part of a Team and have the drive and determination to succeed in a challenging and highly motivated enviroment
