Logistics Main Purpose of Position Day to day running of the site logistics ensuring the reception of the material, the picking, the repacking, inventory accuracy, delivery and storage of material is done in a timely and efficient manner. Manage owned trucks and business (except the strategical ones) & operations relationship with the freight forwarders. Facility management and general services. Key Responsibilities and Duties To allocate and plan the resource within the logistics team to suit the day's workload both sites managed Train and share company process and rules to operators Ensure that issues affecting the department are reported to the manager in a timely manner Create and Maintain operators standard work Support BU and logistics managers on problem solving Manage relationship with local sales teams in order to establish and manage priorities To report any sickness or absence to HR and colleagues involved. To keep a record of holiday dates that have been booked within the team. To ensure facility is maintained to a high standard. Manage all general services related issues To highlight any concerns regarding Health & Safety within the teamworkplace to BU manager. Manage all activities & support colleagues for any to freight related issue to/from site Lead and manage import customs process for parts purchased from extra EU vendors To ensure the all material are picked and presented on time to provide a high level of customer service. To carry out inventory accuracy duties in line with the requirements of the business. To ensure all material received are put away into their respective warehouse locations daily. Manage pallets and layer pads returns Manage customer claims If needed back up logistics colleagues of other sites To perform any other duties and responsibilities as reasonable required. Profile At least 5-7 years of experience in order processing, logistics; Excellent organisational skills; A knack for problem-solving ; A team player with leadership skills; Excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills; Team spirit, goal oriented, communication skills and stress resistant; Demonstrated ability to work successfully in complex business and project areas, leveraging interpersonal skills and technical skills to optimise results.
