Il gruppo gestisce una rete di metanodotti di circa 41.000 km tra Italia, Austria, Francia, Grecia e Regno Unito e detiene il 3,5% della capacità di stoccaggio di gas a livello mondiale. È, inoltre, uno dei maggiori operatori nella rigassificazione del GNL (gas naturale liquefatto).

Con i suoi 80 anni di esperienza nello sviluppo e nella gestione di reti e impianti, Snam garantisce la sicurezza degli approvvigionamenti e promuove la transizione energetica, attraverso investimenti nei gas verdi (biometano e idrogeno) e nell’efficienza energetica, nei territori attraversati.

Snam si è data l’obiettivo zero emissioni nette di CO2 equivalente Scope 1 e 2 entro il 2040 e un target di riduzione delle emissioni indirette Scope 3 (consociate, fornitori) entro il 2030.

**CO2 Technology Expert**

**Do you want to be part of a network that joins and supports?**

The Technology Development Group of the Decarbonization Projects Unit is looking for a technology expert in the field of carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS). This person will be responsible of:

- Tracking existing and scouting for new CO2 capture technologies aiming at creating and maintaining a detailed database, including relevant KPIs and developments
- Monitoring of the performances of existing large scale and pilot projects in order to allow for detailed LCOC and LCOS calculations
- Maintain relationships with the tech providers in coordination with the relevant Snam’s internal functions
- Techno-economical assessment, analysis and design of the available CO2 capture technologies for each different project and initiative. Projects will include, among others, flue gases from: industrial processes, power plants, cogeneration systems, Direct Air Capture and others.
- Techno-economical assessment and analysis of the best and most innovative CO2 utilization solutions and technologies for each different project and initiative.
- Tracking existing and scouting for new CO2 utilization technologies aiming at creating and maintaining a detailed database, including relevant KPIs and developments
- Involvement, alongside the relevant internal functions, to the techno-economical assessment, analysis and design of the best available CO2 compression, storage, and transportation technologies for each different project and initiative.

**Must have**:

- Master’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Energy, Chemical)
- 5 years of experience in the oil and gas sector in particular in CO2 capture
- Proved skills in process engineering
- Project management skills
- Fluent Italian and English
