**Responsibilities**
- Greet guests and provide prompt, friendly, and attentive service
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system
- Upsell menu items and provide recommendations to guests
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and any specials or promotions
- Ensure guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience
- Clear and reset tables efficiently to prepare for the next guests
- Assist with cleaning and organizing the dining area and service station
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth operations
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a waiter/waitress in a similar position preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Positive attitude and a team player mentality
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Basic math and cash handling skills
- Knowledge of food and beverage service techniques and etiquette
- Ability to handle difficult situations and resolve guest complaints
- Strong command of English. Other language skills are considered a plus

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: 5 months

**Salary**: Up to €2,000.00 per month

- Catania, Sicilia: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
