Position Summary:
**Job Description**:
Your Responsibilities:
- To maintain and update the Environmental Management System and related procedures and monitors the data related to the environmental aspects, presenting the results to the Management during the annual review.- To promote new environmental policies/objectives defined by legal provisions and/or company policies.- To participate in the renewal process and the issue of environmental and safety authorizations, interacting with the Authorities and collaborating in the drafting and preparation of the required documentation.- To coordinate the Environmental Authorization (AIA) requirements, carry out the periodic renewal of the "Seveso Report" and cooperate in the preparation of the environmental and safety risk assessment document required by the EMAS regulation and the risk exposure assessment required by Reach.- Contact person for the environmental part, to plant inspections provided by Public Authority (ARPA, ASL, VVFF, Carabinieri etc.).- To represent EHS during the processes of:
- Management of change (DRS and PSSR); Incidents investigation; PHA; LOPA, SBA.- To performs, in collaboration with the Process Engineers, the monitoring of:
- production and quality of solid and liquid waste;- quality and quantity of wastewater (chemical sewer and white sewer);- emissions from chimneys;- groundwater quality.- To coordinate environmental sampling consistently with the environmental authorizations and/or corporate requirements as for:
- Gaseous emission;- Emissions in water;- Groundwater wells;- Soil;- Batches of solid wastes for characterization.- To check the compliance with the allowable limits for gaseous, liquid and solid emissions, and interact with Process and Production departments to agree and define upon the suitable process conditions for achieving the objective and participate in the project development for emissions reduction.- To support Production for the new waste disposal deriving from the introduction of new products/technologies.- To study, in cooperation with Process team, new opportunities for recycling and disposal of wastes.- To deal with the classification of wastes with the support of EP Engineer, EHS Manager and Product Steward of Momentive.- To draw up the waste management procedures in the plant together with the EHS Manager and the EP Engineer.- Responsible for the process of identification and evaluation of environmental service providers (i.e., waste disposal and waste transporters and analytical laboratories), performing audits to them, as certified auditor according to the ISO 14001 for second part audits.- To carry out internal audits ISO 14001/ISO 45001 and check regulatory compliance through department inspections and documental control to ensure compliance with the AIA regulations and legal requirements, recommending improvement actions in case of non-compliance.- To participate in the annual ISO 14001/ISO45001/EMAS certification audit, corporate audits and the execution of actions arising from them.- To participate in the periodic audits of “231 Supervisory Board”, with which it acts as an interface to provide the environmental documentation for the plant to provide evidence of compliance with the law.- To collaborate for scheduling and execution of Internal training for both Momentive employees and external contractors as for environmental aspects (waste management and emissions) and safety;- To make periodic reports required by law or by the Corporate (annual E-PRTR declaration, ISTAT declaration, emissions data on Gensuite (GHG), Federchimica report, etc.).- To take part in troubleshooting activity carried out by the Production in case of environmental problems (i.e. exceeding threshold limits allowed by the local Authority-Consorzio).- To collaborate with the Product Steward for updating the SDS and the classification of the plant materials; also to cooperate for the risk exposure assessment required by Reach.- To be responsible for safety based on the definition of art. 2 paragraph E, of Lgs. D. 81/2008 and subsequent amendments, for which it must fulfill the obligations set out in Article 19 of Legislative Decree 81/2008 and subsequent amendments.

Additional Details:
Minimum qualifications- Master's Degree in Chemical/Environmental Engineering or equivalent degree.- At least 5 years of experience in the role.- High level of professional integrity.- Highly collaborative spirit with strong team and interpersonal skills.- Good analytical and problem solving skills.- Good written and verbal communication skills in both language Italian & English.- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred qualifications- Incident investigation Leader (Cause Mapping).- Qualified PHA and LOPA Coordinator.- Internal auditor certified for ISO14001, ISO 45001.- Training required by Italian regulation for ASPP (Addetto servizio prevenzione e protezione).- Deep knowledge of Main Euro
