We are currently looking for an exceptional **SEN Teacher** (special educational needs) position starting from **August 2023**. This position includes working with children with learning, emotional, behavioral or communication difficulties, and conditions such as dyscalculia, dyslexia, and ADHD.

Job responsibilities include:

- Preparing and adapting teaching materials;
- Planning lessons and developing programmes of learning activities;
- Making use of special facilities and/or equipment (i.e: iPads, MacBooks );
- Contact time with students on an individual, class or small group basis;
- Writing reports;
- Adapt conventional teaching methods to meet the individual needs of pupils;
- Tailoring the curriculum to specific special educational needs;
- Checking and assessing students' work and giving feedback;
- Meeting other teachers.

Qualifications:

- Relevant BA or Master’s Degree (eg: Special Education, Pedagogy, Counselling, Psychology, etc );
- Previous SEN experience, ideally at least 5 years;
- EU Passport or valid Italian working visa;
- At least C1 level of English;
- A good knowledge of Italian (at least B2) would be a plus;
- Critical thinking;
- Ability to work in a team;
- Empathy;
- Strong project management skills;
- Accountable to expectations and deadlines;
- Immaculate criminal record.
