R&d Director

The R&D Director reports to the CEO. The purpose of this position is to define the company mid and long-term strategy in the development of R&D products and services, guaranteeing compliance with quality standards, time and cost commitments, in accordance with company standards and procedures.

**Main Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Defines and implements the mid and long-term R&D strategy in developing the product portfolio and company know how
- Guarantees the execution of the R&D strategy, coordinating the R&D Team and allocating necessary resources
- Represents the department in strategic meetings with clients to define future plans and manage critical issues
- Opens or proposes the opening of new departmental or interdepartmental projects to improve processes and procedures
- Defines guidelines and standards to provide effective and innovative R&D solutions guaranteeing the project outcome and innovative development of technical solutions
- Supervises R&D Lab activities ensuring standards and procedures are applied

**Education and Experience**:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience as R&D Manager of a company with similar industry specific technologies and productive processes, previous experience as a process engineer or project manager
