**WHO WE ARE**

**YOUR TEAM**

You will be working in a multicultural and multi-disciplinary group, where material, mechanical and electronic engineers, computational scientists, physicists, chemists, biotechnologist and biologists collaborate, each with their expertise, to carry out a scientific activity with a shared research goal.

Your main responsibilities will be the development of a modular sensing/actuation platform based on a network of miniaturized low-power multimodal transducing devices for wearable bio-interfaces.

The activity is aimed at the designing, developing and testing a set of neurorobotic sensors and control systems for twinning physio-motor processes in animal models. The developed wearable and skin sensors will provide signals and information on motor activity, which will be used by other partners of the NRTWIN-RAISE project to generate optimal robot policies depending on the human physiological state.

**WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU SHINE**
- Master degree in a scientific discipline, preferentially in Material Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Electronic Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Neurosciences.
- PhD or an equivalent post-graduation research experience (at least three years) in material science, materials engineering, nanotechnologies, electronics or neurophysiology.
- Documented experience in micro and nanotechnologies, electrical characterization and measurements.
- Excellent knowledge of the basic concepts of signal acquisition and/or piezoelectrics.
- Ability to properly report, organize and publish research data.
- Good command of spoken and written English.

**EXTRA AWESOME**
- Hands-on experience in photolithography, sputtering deposition, wet and dry etching techniques.
- Experience in characterization and measurements through lab equipment (oscilloscope, source meter, voltage generator, etc.).
- Experience in the use of at least one 3D modeling software and/or electronics CAD.
- Good communication skills
- Strong problem-solving attitude.
- High motivation to learn.

- Good at time and priority management.
- Previous work experience in an international environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a highly interdisciplinary environment.
