**Impact - Mechanical Simulation**:
**Where we need you**:

- Definition of a new simulation model to capture the behaviour of a plastic component under mechanical impact loads.
- Material description: laboratory testing of strain-rate dependence of plastic material properties, choice of an appropriate material model to describe the observed behaviour and definition of material card for simulation. Laboratory tests to validate the implemented simulation approach.
- Software used: commercial or open-source.
