Hotel Barchetta is looking for Talents to include to the Team for the 2023 season

Position Summary

As a Chef de Partie will be responsible to deliver exceptional culinary experience to all our Guests demonstrating passion, knowledge and care.

In this Role You Will
Support the Executive Chef in ensuring a flawless and timely service in your department section following the service standards and respecting departments policies and procedures
Participate in the preparation of food items according to guest orders of consistent quality following recipe cards, as well as production, portion, and presentation standards; complete mis en place and set-up station for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner service
Assist the Kitchen Management Team in training, motivating, recommending discipline, and supervising the work of kitchen employees ensuring that all standards are met
Ensure all kitchen equipment is operated and consistently maintained to the highest standard
Return all food items not used to designated storage areas, being sure to cover/date all perishables; assist in setting up plans and actions to correct any food cost problems; control food waste, loss and usage per policies
Assist in prep work as required for the next shifts as well as set-up and cleaning of operational areas
Assist with food preparation in other kitchen areas when needed
Maintain an efficient coordination with all team members to ensure the highest level of service in your department section

Job Requirements
Minimum three years’ relevant experience in luxury hotels or restaurant industry in a similar role
Knowledge of service and hygiene procedures
Knowledge of quality industry standards (LQA, Forbes) will be considered a plus
Good spoken Italian language; English will be considered a plus
Legal right to work in Italy
