**Licensing Category Manager Fragrances**:

At Diesel Headquarter located in Breganze (Italy), we are looking for a Fragrances category Manager who, reporting to the Licensing Director, complying with Brand strategical guidelines and in cooperation with key stakeholders, will be responsible for assigned category management, as key actor in view of maximizing and securing categories financial goals through all involved business channels & models, while actively contributing in this role to mid-term and long-term brand equity enhancement strategy.

Main responsibilities
- Business, Sales and Marketing- Support the arrangement and management of Diesel license agreements for the assigned categories, fostering and enforcing Diesel interests, and monitor the compliance with contractual obligations;
- Monitor sales, track royalty income performance, Licensee A&P obligations and run related business review sessions with partner;
- Work hand in hand with licensing partner to ensure annual sales growth by developing effective strategies to foster the relationship with end consumers and secure the right tools/supporting initiatives for partner’s customers;
- Have regular communication with licensee to discuss sales performance, marketing and distribution opportunities globally in alignment with Diesel distribution strategies;
- Support Licensing Director in yearly budgeting process, constantly tracking actual performances’ adherence all across relevant financial year;
- Prepare Business reviews for the assigned categories to Diesel CEO, Group Committees and third party’s meetings;
- Monitor direct channels performances and define consequent actions in cooperation with main stakeholders from HQ and Regional functions;
- Partner with the Brand, Retail, E-com functions to define right store assortments and to ensure best instore execution for Diesel Fragrances;
- Partner with Marketing functions (HQ and Regions) to develop marketing strategies and activities for the assigned license categories, contributing to the successful execution of marketing initiatives to ensure the enforcement of Diesel interests;
- Work closely with licensee and Diesel Marketing team to develop strong ADV campaign and category imagery, in full alignment with Diesel identity and culture;
- Research new opportunities for continuously integrating fragrances into brand plans;
- Work with licensee on execution of strong digital and in-store visual merchandising and storytelling;
- Product Development- Partner with Licensee to concept & build fragrance strategies that will achieve the brand’s growth objectives and market share;
- Lead the briefing process to kick-off fragrance program development;
- Be the Diesel expert on fragrance & beauty markets: understand market dynamics, trends, assess new product launches, deeply understand consumer’s habits and create competitive analyses to identify new opportunities;
- Manage product development calendar with licensee, coordinate all internal meetings, driving deadlines and product launch deliverables;
- Lead GWP development process: past season hind-sighting, competitive reviews, briefing, design calendar, inspiration & material share, liaising with Diesel merchandising team and accessories designers;
- Manage day-to-day communication/development with all cross functional teams including Creative, Marketing & PR, Visual Merchandising, Store Design, Finance and Legal to ensure timetable/milestone adherence;
- Drive creation of internal presentations on the fragrance category;

- Reporting to Diesel Licensing Director, the role will represent the key internal point of contact for Diesel key departments and, at the same time, the 1st layer spokesperson for the Licensee.

**Requirements**:
- At least 7 year-experience in Brand Management or Brand Marketing, preferably within the prestige fragrance and beauty industry. Degree in Business, Marketing discipline or equivalent.
- Expert technical skill proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and basic knowledge of web analytics.
