**Job Description Summary**: At Avio Aero, a GE Aviation Business unit, we’ve been reimagining the power of flight for more than 100 years. We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for both the civil and military aviation.

Responsible for providing financial planning, analysis and reporting for the SG&A (Sales, General and Administrative expenses including foreign exchange impacts) for Avio Aero P&L. Interprets simple internal and external cost challenges and support the Income Statement leader in recommending actions to control costs. Translate business challenges into operational KPIs.

**Essential Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the analysis of the SG&A for the business.
- Lead the long-term planning process for the SG&A (Strategy, Budget) as well as the short term forecasts (monthly/quarterly estimates), developing a deep understanding of the Avio Aero functions dynamics.
- Responsible for SG&A submissions to HQ, for internal and external presentations, ensuring timely & accurate closing.
- Responsible for providing quarterly dynamic forecasts, updated run-rates analyses and risk & opportunities of Avio Aero SG&A cost structure to Avio Aero FP&A leader, to support the company in achieving its quarterly targets, defining corrective actions where needed.
- Responsible for the SG&A monthly reviews with Avio Aero FP&A leader, CFO and members of the leadership team.
- Responsible for the SG&A HQ recharge and relief and be in contact with Aviation HQ FP&A team for ensure related data timing and accuracy.
- Responsible for managing key accounting elements for internal billing monitoring data validity used for expenses related to internal billing.
- Responsible for ad hoc analysis as may be required by the CEO or CFO of the business, or the FP&A leader.
- Work closely with operations teams to understand financial/accounting implications of SG&A. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
- Responsible for the consolidation of the Avio legacy and Turboprop segments, to provide a unique Avio Aero P&L view about the SG&A.
- Main interface on SG&A matters with Aviation HQ FP&A team.
- Lead recurrent analysis and reporting on C&B (Compensation & Benefits), Horizontal (or Bought) costs analysis.
- Promote simplification and control over Avio Aero cost centers structure and headcount alignment to Avio Aero cost structure.
- Promote and initiate process improvements.
- Manage the foreign exchange forecast and actuals analysis, collaborate with HQ in the derivative instruments planning and provide analysis and monthly/quarterly reviews.

**Qualifications/Requirements**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Business Administration or Management Engineering from an accredited university or college
- Strong analytical skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change
- Experience in FP&A Operations
- Good knowledge of SAP and MS Office
- Previous experience in international companies
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Fluent written and spoken English
- EU work permit

**Desired Characteristics**:

- Italian knowledge is a plus
- Knowledge of Hyperion
- Previous experience in GE
- Strong oral and written communication skills
