Pfizer is hiring a Passionate, Talented, Innovative, Charismatic Medical Affair Scientist (MAS) Line Manager in COVID Therapeutic Areas in Medical Affairs Department.

The hiring of the MAS Line Manager in COVID fits the iTALent purpose, providing a growth and development opportunity to lead scientific innovation in our Therapeutic Areas (TA).

The MAS Line Manager will report to the Italy COVID Medical Director.
- Why Patients Need You- The MAS Line Manager will join COVID Medical Team and will be responsible for coordination of a group of MAS in Italy- Will have direct relationships with healthcare professionals and research centers focused on increasing quality of partnerships to share the common final objective: patient’s health improvement- Will actively contribute to Medical Affairs transformation included digital transformation- Key Experience Offer of this Role- Glocal Member, scientific and clinical support to Global team- Take budget responsibility- People management- Able to establish and maintain KOL relations with Medical Integrity and accountability- Works independently. Receives instruction primarily on unusual situations. Ability to organize tasks, time and priorities of self and others; ability to multi-task- Looks across and outside the organization for better ways of working - receptive/willing to others ways of thinking- Proactively manages change by identifying opportunities and coaching self and others through the change- Displays sensitivity to manage relationships and ability to build collaborative working relationships with colleagues and associates both within and external to the organization
- Primary Responsibilities- Setting of strategic and substantial goals for the team (referred to company goals and Medical Affairs Strategy)- Define and implement the M2M plan of action according to Medical Affair Strategies (local and global)- Coordinate the team support for scientific congresses, satellite symposia including attendance and follow-up, promotional materials review- Budget (supervise expence reports, medical product budget)- Responsibility for medical activities at national level referred to the TA strategy- Organization of consulting processes within the team and the headquarter (Medical and Commercial relevant functions)- Provides scientific and medical data to leading health professionals, also to support decision-making by institutions and decision-makers- Contributes to the selection of research locations in collaboration with clinical operations according to Pfizer SOPs and Policies
- What You Offer- Medicine degree preferred- Experience in infectious disease and public health are strongly preferred- Experience in clinical research is strongly preferred- Experience in team leading/people management is preferred- Excellent and proven scientific and technical expertise (incl. clinical studies, relevant therapeutic area knowledge)- Project management skills- Excellent English and local language- Adherence to Pfizer Values: Courage, Excellence, Equity and Joy
