**Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026** is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
**Position**:
The Photo Chief has the key role in leading the Photo Operations team to deliver the services for all all photographers, in liaison with the IOC, the IPC and OBS.
Main challenges/Complexities of the position:
- Capability of managing projects and deliver on time
- Ability to analyze and understand complex situations and suggest/take appropriate decisions and measures
- Active involvement in relationship with domestic and international media organizations with regards their operations
- Good coordinator with common sense and able to make priorities
Interactions network:
- All FAs within MC26, IOC and IPC
- Press Agencies, Journalist and Photographers, NOCs, EDEs, International Federations
- Be responsible of the general planning of photo facilities and services
- Plan tailor-made solutions and services for photo stakeholders, related to the competition and non-competition venues
- Oversee the Press Plus project
- Responsible for official guides, policies and procedures for Photo Operations
- Collaborate with different MC26 FAs to plan photo services onsite in the venues (e.g., security, transport, etc)
- Coordinate the Photo Service assistance at the MMC and in MC26 clusters
- Be responsible of the general planning of photo facilities and services
- Plan tailor-made solutions and services for photo stakeholders, related to the competition and non-competition venues
- Oversee the Press Plus project
- Responsible for official guides, policies and procedures for Photo Operations
- Collaborate with different MC26 FAs to plan photo services onsite in the venues (e.g., security, transport, etc)
- Coordinate the Photo Service assistance at the MMC and in MC26 clusters
**Requirements**:
- Profound experience in planning and executing photo operations procedures at international sports events, preferably in previous Olympic Games
- Pro-active approach and creative problem-solving skills
- Develop and maintain a close working relationship with all MC26 functional areas
- Profound experience in event management, including working with and coordinating suppliers
- Ability to address the Photographers
- Comprehensive knowledge of international sports media landscape
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Driving License
- Excellent language skills in English, knowledge of one or several other Olympic movement official languages is an advantage
- IT-experienced, knowledge of usual office software and Internet
- Experience in previous Olympic Organizing committee or Multi events
