**Role description**:
As the Launch Readiness Responsible within the Silk-FAW Automotive Connectivity team you will coordinate and report the progress of all the activities that are related to the launch readiness of the connected experience for all Silk-FAW hyper and super road cars.
The individual tasks will include to collect and report the progress of all involved activities/workstreams with the relevant involved internal and external teams/departments that are part of the overall Launch Readiness plan. Any possible roadblocks, risks or needs for escalation will be identified and where possible managed and in case needed escalation will be triggered.
- Build and maintain the cross-functional Launch Readiness plan that will guarantee the timely availability of all aspects related to the successful launch of the connected experience on all current and future vehicles
- Coordinate and support the Connectivity Program Managers with their day-to-day planning activities
- Identify critical paths, risks and roadblocks and subsequently identify and implement mitigation actions with the responsible workstream stream owners
- Report periodically on progress, status and organise executive steering reviews. There where needed manage escalation process with the aim to resolve any critical issue
- Support the team by training new colleagues into their new roles and responsibilities

**Requirements**:

- Several years of coordinating experience in delivery of Connectivity or related solutions & systems with proven evidence of decision making and accountability
- Experience with managing go-to-market activities for vehicle programs or similar
- Ability to produce formal documentation to a professional standard - be well versed in creation and maintenance of synthetic Status Reports, Timing Plans, Minutes and Actions of Meetings
- Experienced managing complexity of cross functional activities
- Organised, systematic and understand the automotive and software development process
- Mature, confident and articulate in high pressure scenarios
- Pro-active, self-organised and able to work independently
- Ability to effectively manage time between multiple activities and prioritise
- Able to make sound judgements based on balance of risk
- Attention to detail, positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language, social and interpersonal skills
- Willing to travel and work flexible hours when required
- Passion for the automotive industry and/or technology desirable but not essential
- Highly motivated
- Identify the required countermeasures or solutions and take on responsibility to promote and drive these together with the involved teams
