As a Gas Turbines Configuration Manager you will be responsible for covering overall responsibilities related to Turbine product configuration selection and management for New Units and Service projects. In this role, you will be mainly responsible for managing configurations of one of our latest turbine products, engineered to combine innovative solutions with the best proven technologies and fleet experience from our entire gas turbine portfolio supporting Energy Transition.

As a Turbines Configuration Manager, you will be responsible for:

- Ensuring the technical excellence of Turbines products within TAEE, supporting all the phases of the selection of a product and its options, from the technical proposal, the asset and outage/overhaul optimizations, till the remittance of engine in the pool.
- Managing optimization of each project budget and resources availability, to the release and the management of the relevant production/repair codes through suitable configuration tools (for example, TCE and EDM mainly)
- Taking responsibility to collaborate with Turbines New Units and Service Platforms, to define, investigate and solve industrialization gaps, proposing standardization ideas and cost-out improvements, optimizing overhauls minimizing costs and increasing interchangeability, leveraging PCB, RCA, PCM processes to help reaching product target costs, updated and profitable configuration options and cycle times.
- Working with other Departments (Systems Integration Teams, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Service, etc.) to keep integrated and updated all interfaces, documentation, manuals, and configurations related to the engine product. Lead the configuration change communication to the other functions as per PCB Output
- Coordinating colleagues, peers, external resources and supporting Design Engineers to incorporate, through PCB, lesson learned from Supply Chain, non-conformities (NCR and SDR), commissioning and relevant service requests (SR) to avoid and contain cost of quality.
- Assuring that containment actions, corrective and preventive actions coming from continuous improvement initiatives (RCA/NCA) applicable to the product, will be properly optimized and implemented in each refurbished module to correctly replicate existing standard.
- Working in close contact with Commercials and Applications to actively take part to all ITO-like and OTR tasks related to refurbishment configuration optimization, ensuring that what has been proposed / selected / repaired is in line and interchangeable with existing configurations and options.
- Inspiring the broader Team to take risks on new challenges, as per Customer's (internal and/or external) expectations and business priorities, encouraging Team’s accountability and demonstrating the BH values in terms of Customer’s centricity and collaboration.

- Have the ability to present product/program strategies, technical roadmaps, risks and recommendations to senior leads across Baker Hughes
- Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
- Have good interpersonal and leadership skills
- Have excellent ability to analyse and resolve problems & to lead programs / projects
- Have the ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
