**ROLE PURPOSE STATEMENT**

Il _Leather Manager_ ricopre un ruolo centrale all’interno dello Sviluppo Prodotto _Leather Goods _per la Maison Cartier. Guida e gestisce in prima persona lo sviluppo e l’industrializzazione di tutti i pellami, dal briefing in Studio fino alla produzione, interagendo proattivamente con i team che intervengono durante il processo.

**PRINCIPALI ATTIVITÀ E RESPONSABILITÀ**
- Proporre attivamente materiali compatibili con i brief/progetti di tutti i designer dell’Ufficio Stile;
- Assicurare la consegna tempestiva delle pelli per la campionatura e la prototipazione. Particolare attenzione alle date dei comitati (creativi e SPCC);
- Collaborare con modellisti/prototipisti di pelletteria di grandi e piccole dimensioni durante la fase di ricerca e sviluppo per garantire la compatibilità estetica e técnica delle pelli con il design e le costruzioni previsti dai designer;
- Definire i consumi in collaborazione con il responsabile della modelleria e della prototipia e con gli Industrializzatori;
- Valutare le trasformazioni proposte e proporre alternative quando ritenuto necessario per una corretta compatibilità con l'articolo in pelle; Di conseguenza, collaborare con il partner di trasformazione per garantire e ottimizzare la compatibilità materiale/técnica e la fattibilità.
- Gestire i documenti di approvazione richiesti nella fase di R&S e la creazione dei campioni master e delle tavole in base al retro-planning definito;
- Contribuire attivamente a trovare soluzioni con le concerie e gli altri partner per modifiche estetiche/trasformazioni in caso di problemi di qualità e/o di produzione durante la fase di industrializzazione/produzione. (es.: pre-serie)

**KNOWLEDGE & COMPETENCIES**
- Sensibilità al prodotto e alla materia Pelle per rispondere in modo efficiente alle richieste dei designer
- Conoscenza generica di tessuti e sostenibilità è considerata un plus;

**PROFILE**
- 8-10 anni di esperienza nel ruolo (maturati preferibilmente nella gestione di pellami di alta qualità);
- Buon livello di conoscenza della Lingua Inglese (la conoscenza della Lingua Francese sarà considerata un plus);
- Proattività e capacità di interagire efficacemente con interlocutori interni ed esterni;
- Disponibile a viaggiare frequentemente
