The Barback is responsible for maintaining the bar area and assisting the Bartender(s) on duty in order to provide excellent customer service for all guests.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide both a unique and elevated guest experience for each guest
- Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing correct uniform whilst working
- Accurately take drinks orders and deliver to guests in a timely
- Ensure the bar area is setup correctly, in line with the company standards
- Read checks clearly and orders are being processed accurately to reduce drinks wastage
- Ensure all drinks are prepared and are coherent with the company standards
- Utilise slow trade periods to check standards, refresh knowledge on the food and drink offering, and revising health & safety checks
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Responsible for checking any intolerances or allergies for each ‘special cocktail’ request
- Ensure all equipment used front of house is kept clean and tidy at open and closing of venue
- Maintain a neat and clean bar area on a continual
- Responsible for basic prep work behind the bar including but not limited to restocking the area and preparing garnishes
- Assist and work in tandem with the bartender(s)
- Attend all pre-shift meetings ready to “listen and learn” and share
- Respect the schedule and working hours assigned by the Manager
- Always collect eventual tips to the main cash desk, informing the manager about the entity of the tips collected.

- May take and deliver food orders for customers dining in bar
- May perform other duties as assigned

Experience, Skills & Knowledge
- Must Possess HACCP certificate
- Have extensive knowledge on the spirits, wine and cocktail menu, knowing each product on the menu and be able to offer recommendations
- Aware of potential hazards, which could cause, but are not limited to, slipping, tripping, or falling.
- Understand critical situation during peak periods and avoid leaving the work
- Availability to work overtime when necessary
- Must have strong customer service skills and be able to maintain poise and positive personality when under pressure
- Must possess acute attention to detail
