Position Summary:
Technical responsible for systems and components product development, working from concept phase and design up to validation and product release for manufacturing.
The role is focused to the systems development on future cab concepts for new trucks (BEV and FCEV), following technology Importante Azienda, future legislation and market requirements.
Main contents in the scope:
exterior trims on cab elongated front end and rear panels (aerokit)
Main Tasks:
- Governance and definition of technology roadmaps and benchmark state of art review
- Feasibility study for concept release and technologydefinition
- Product development process and design for performance, quality and cost, according to legal and project requirements
- Management of co-design activity with main suppliers
- Develop the validation plan of whole system and manage test activities on own system.
- Product documentation management and systems release for manufacturing and plant
- Management of external teams supporting product design
- Development and management of specification standards and knowledge management documentation
Requirements for the position:
- Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering and at least 3 years job experience on cab trim and systems development.
- English level:
upper-intermediate (English test B2 - First Certificate)
- CATIA V5 and 3D software knowledge
- Communication skills and ability to engage and correspond with global network of teams, colleagues and interfaces
- Competence on plastic technology (thermoplastic and thermoset)
**Skills**:
- Problem solving approach and ability to react and provide potential solutions based on information received
- Ability to appropriately manage and deliver communication and updates to various level within the organization up to but not limited to sector Vice President.
- Ability to work in a team with proactivity, respecting the choices and challenges Importante Azienda by colleagues.
- Ability, knowledge and experience to interact, mentor and manage colleagues from various locations, and business sectors.
- Ability to delegate activities and requests to other colleagues internal and external to functional and reporting group.
