Obsolescence Manager

Posting Date: 10-Mar-2023- City: Roma- Location: Roma, IT, 144- Contract Type: Permanent- Division: Space & Defence- Level of experience: IntermediateRINA is currently recruiting for a **Obsolescence Manager** to join its office in **Rome** within the Space & Defence Division.

**Mission**:

- The resource will cover the role of Components Obsolescence & Shortage Manager with the task of coordinating and managing all monitoring and resolution activities of actual or commercial obsolescences of the components used in the products.

**Responsibilities**:

- Master's Degree in Electronic/Telecommunication Engineering is preferred;
- Drafting of Technical Specifications;
- Preferable knowledge of electronic boards, microwave modules and units for Radar/ESM/ECM equipment;
- Resolution of component obsolescence, Supervision of the actual state of obsolescence, evaluations for FFF alternatives, Interface with the design for the validation of alternatives or redesign activities;
- Knowledge of product life cycle flow management;
- Analysis of the impacts of obsolescence on system supportability;
- Obsolescence report drafting;
- Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (e.g. Windchill);
- Knowledge of the SAP tool is preferable;
- Excellent team management skills;
- Excellent planning and organization skills;
- Excellent problem solving skills.
