Laboratory Operations Technician

For a pharmaceutical company, we are looking for a:
Laboratory Operations Technician

Purpose of the role:
Within the Research Lab Ops group the Laboratory Operations Expert will support operational functions for the R&D laboratories and related documents in collaboration with Laboratory Operations, Quality for R&D, EHS, Procurement, Maintenance and Engineering in support for the R&D

Main activities:

- Collaborate with external Providers, Maintenance management, Engineering, LAO and the R&D Lab Heads on equipment and facilities processes to ensure laboratory support is provided (e.g., support the Lab Head for the definition of the list of equipment to put under maintenance contract, facility changes, LECS, installation, maintenance, movement and decommissioning of instruments, dynamic DUVRIs, pipette calibration)
- Provide support for the management of deviations and CAPAs related to equipment
- Support documental activities related to equipment life-cycle management (e.g equipment file creation and update)
- Provide support for the implementation of EHS & QA requirements and initiatives for R&D group in collaboration with local EHS and QA
- Support the Lab Head for the Chemical Inventory and MSD management by ensuring their implementation and annual review
- Participate to Preclinical Operation Team meeting and Research Lab Ops meeting and ensure proper follow-up within the Functions.

Minimum requirements:

- Understand laboratory operations
- Ability to learn and to adapt quickly to new function is required
- Good knowledge of spoken and written English
