For our client, multinational leading company, we’re looking for a

**Operations Finance Manager EMEA.**

He/she will be a business partner for all Operations functions (Manufacturing,Logistic, Supply chain/Procurement and R&D).

He/she will directly report to the Finance Director EMEA and will manage a team of 2 people located in Italy and in Germany.

He/she will have an active role on defining company strategy with a special focus on Operations and will support the business on the strategy’s execution but will also have the ability to operate at an operational and practical level to improve processes and databases in the supported areas.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Consolidation of all financial processes - 3yrs strategy, annual budget, monthly forecast, month end closing with specific focus on cost of goods sold and gross profit - in collaboration with all business functions and finance (FP&A and Accounting)
- Support on manufacturing process improvement to pursue the company’s productivity and efficiency target
- Consolidate, monitoring and validation of all productivity projects, inflation / deflation and PPV for all materials and services related to Operation’s costs
- Support on manufacturing plant’s P&L to ensure the budget cost control and revenue based on standard cost value of production
- Implement standard cost accounting system
- Calculate standard costing for raw material, wip and finished goods and monitoring std cost variances on monthly basis
- Support on pricing assumptions based on product costs and required margin.
- Consolidate, monitoring and reporting of capex including preparation of business case and payback calculations
- Contribute on setting and implementing the needed procedure to keep inventory values in line with target. Calculate inventory reserve for slob
- Advise on ‘make or buy’ decisions
- Cooperate with Operations and IT on sanity check and assessment to upgrade current ERP architecture configuration in area Operations
- Prepare and support on ad-hoc business cases for any project within Operations
- Serves as an adviser for both a company’s financial department and business leadership. Their research, analysis and experience is used to develop business and financial recommendations, provide budget feedback and assist leadership in key financial decisions

**Skills & Requirements**:

- Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing organization
- Previous experience as Manufacturing Plant Controller
- Proved experience in standard costs accounting system
- Demonstrating management skills and a strong customer service mindset
- High attention to detail
- Possesses financial modeling experience
- Good proficiency in English
- Demonstrated understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Must possess both strong quantitative abilities and excellent written and oral communication skills. They are strategic, analytical thinkers who are driven by results and can innovate and develop creative financial solutions
- Nice to have:_
- Preferably possessing an MBA, CPA or CMA degree
- Has experience with a multi-national firm or managing large divisions
