- The Expansion Project Director ensures new facility project in Ivrea is delivered on time in scope and in full function including engineering, operational site set up with necessary functions built in, coordinating and managing project engineering activities in Ivrea expansion project including internal and external stakeholders, vendors, suppliers.
- This person will Represent business in strategic initiatives and projects, support business developing strategic plans, capital plans, volume and financial scenarios and provide key input in the development of a five-year strategic plan and annual OPEX and CAPEX budget for capital expansion and improvements.**Your key responsibilities**:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide leadership and oversight to the site strategic projects, including creating a vision, multi-year strategies and operating model for a customer centric, globally aligned function.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project delivery teams to effectively execute capital projects for ideal volume delivery strategy of Ivrea.
- Enable a culture of cross functional collaboration and communications.
- Partner with necessary global functions to develop a forward thinking, customer focused site.
- Ensure optimal alignment between production/laboratory scheduling and material planning to avoid potential material write-offs.
- Deliver additional capacities for strategic products from design to licensed facility.
- Builds, develops and manages leadership team capable of engaging employees’ commitment to achieve the company’s goals and objectives, while complying with company policies.
- Supporting site head for organizational design and staffing decisions. Helping site head to recruit, retain, train and develop the team for site ramp up plus promoting high employee engagement and a positive work environment.
- Liaise other global functions for implementation of global programs and standards.

**Minimum Requirements**:
**What you’ll bring to the role**:

- Scientific Degree.
- At least 5 years of experience in a Management role within a pharmaceutical company.
- Excellent organizational (time management, risk management) and communication skills.
- Knowledge of production systems and technical requirements are appreciated.
- Fluent in Italian. Good knowledge of English (at least B2 level).
