AHV (Animal Health Vision) International is the industry leader in quorum sensing powered animal health solutions and value-added advisory services.

AHV International develops innovative and sustainable solutions to overcome significant obstacles in the animal health sector. We do this by working together with bacteria and effectively focusing on the source to de-active the bacteria. This provides a preventative and proactive solution for farmers to support animals health and in turn impact sustainability, productivity and profitability on farm.

**AHV Italy**

AHV IT was launched to propel AHV International to global market leadership for the next generation of animal health. We are a farmer first organization which aims to empower farmers with new solutions to naturally optimise animal health, improve profitability, and positively impact their environmental footprint. Due to the novel nature of our technology, we will work directly with the farmer via on-farm and data driven tools to ensure success.

**THE POSITION**

As a result of our continued success, we are now recruiting for a Country Manager to join our world class, purpose-driven team, and challenge the status quo in our pursuit of excellence and innovation in animal health and the world. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for driving the growth and success of AHV in your assigned country/region by developing and implementing effective strategies and action plans.

As the Country Manager, you will be responsible for establishing strong relationships with key stakeholders, managing a team, setting and achieving sales targets, and ensuring the overall success of AHV in your assigned country/region.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- You are responsible for the sales of our products in the region of Netherlands and manage the sales and the existing field sales team (professional, disciplinary).
- Work alongside the operations manager to ensure the successful running of the country
- Responsible for identifying training requirements and actioning development (individual) plans within the Sales Consultants in your own sales region.
- You are responsible for preparing budgets, forecasts and initiating measures in case of deviations and actively observe the market.
- You represent the company in the market and at trade fairs and you are also responsible for project management of strategically important development projects.
- Responsible for holding the Sales Consultants accountable to the success of their individual areas.
- You will support the HR team in the selection of personnel and maintain a close exchange with our Managing Director.
- Responsible for organising, creating, and conducting presentations for monthly sales meetings.
- Compiling and analysing sales figures / reports / forecasts to be reported to the Managing Director when required.
- Be a champion for our business values, brands, and policies both internally and externally.
- Schedule and conduct Monthly Check
- Ins and Quarterly Reviews with individual Sales Consultants and report back to the Managing Director and HR as required.
- Support the organisation’s Executive Committee in implementing and maintaining policies and procedures.
- Support to the Commercial Director & HR in the Company’s People Management strategy.
- Assist in other areas of the business where required.

**Requirements**:
**IDEAL CRITERIA**:

- With your open and curious nature, you are enthusiastic about innovative products and our new approach to animal health solutions
- Entrepreneurial mind-set with the ability to capitalise on opportunities.
- A strong desire to support Sales Consultants on farm with their dairy farming customers.
- Competence to lead a team
- Ability to operate and flourish in a fast-growing, target-driven environment.
- You have a degree in agriculture and have several years of working experience (at least 4 years) in a similar position - Study with corresponding degree
- You have sound knowledge in the field of animal health for dairy cattle and also have commercial knowledge
- Strong commercial awareness, understanding of different sales techniques and pipeline management
- You have strong communication and presentation skills and experience in agriculture
- Excellent prioritisation, time management and organisational skills.
- Excellent analytical, Forecasting, Problem Solving and Cost Management skills
- Strong ability to demonstrate resilience, sometimes in the face of uncertainty or challenge.
- Competent knowledge of MS Office (Including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams).
- Very good Dutch and English
