Position Summary:
The Finite Scheduler (Planner) is responsible for developing and maintaining a production schedule for the plant with the objective to meet customer requested dates, optimize production efficiency and achieve inventory targets. The Planner is accountable to align on the short and long-term capacity plan with Operations. The role also works closely with the Customer Service team to manage escalations and with the Procurement team to ensure that raw material requirements are communicated.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain efficient production planning taking Forecast and Sales Orders, MTO/MTS, MOQ & Ldt and stocking strategy into account.
Perform ERP transactions related to our Planning/Scheduling activities including but not limited to ; e.g. Process Orders, Maintain PPDS. Issue tolling, repacking PO’s, Issue PO’s & STO’s
Maintain Material Master Data linked to production accurately in the System (ERP) - (e.g. BOM, Recipe)
NPI - Support technology group for new developments by supporting Trials
Working closely with DRP Planner to validate and ensure sufficient inventory of raw materials and components at all times (e.g. feedstock, glass fiber and additives) to support production.
Provide input for the Regional Supply review (Work closely with Production, Operation & Logistics to identify gap & resolution)
Lead the weekly production call with Operations, DRP etc.
Define actions cross-functionally to meet KPI’s. Propose targets that financially optimize the balance between production efficiency and inventory without impacting service
Resolve complex customer related issues/exceptions by working closely with Customer Service Representatives and Logistics team. (e.g. Review Escalation process, Sales Control, Celonis)
Active participation & lead on regional supply chain improvement projects

This role will report directly to our Regional Sr. Supply Chain Manager
Required Experience:
10 years of planning experience working with manufacturing, preferably compounding.
5 years minimum experience with MRP systems (e.g. SAP, APO, NPPQS, PP/DS)
Excel
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, supply chain management, information systems, or equal through experience required.
Excellent analytical skills
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively cross-functionally and with different nationalities and cultures.
Excellent organization and efficient time-management skills to meet deadlines
Ability to lead projects and coordinate teamwork.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Support and drive change management efforts.
Proficient in following Languages: Italian, English.
