Estimation Manager

CPM, part of the multinational Dürr Group, is a leading global supplier of automotive assembly systems providing highly innovative products and services covering all important stages of vehicle production.
**YOUR TASKS**
- Be the responsable of the Estimation teams, providing regular feedback on performances and supporting the career development of individuals;
- Ensure improvement of perfomance environment and engagement of the team;
- Training the team on Durr processes and comply with Durr Standards in Sales Phase. Quality assurance of global proposals FAS;
- Development Estimation Tool FAS (single products, assembly lines, turnkey projects, etc.) (global DSIT-CS, DSUS, DSCN, DSPL, DSBR, ). Take over best practice within Next.assemnbly (DAP) and simplify processes and ensure quality of proposals & estimation;
- Build-up benchmark data base and KPI dashboard for quotations;
- Definition and implementation of process for estimation base data update together with Controlling, Engineering, Operations, Purchasing. Closed loop system to track on estimated budgets;
- Develop global resource team for estimation FAS (DSIT-CS, DSPL, DSDE, DSCN) for international projects together with Sales Director & Application Manager;
- Develop standard proposal documents & Sales documents together with Engineering, Product Management;
- Resource & capacity planning of global FAS estimation team according to target and pipelining projects;
- Monitor and track project costs and adjust estimates accordingly, working with project teams to ensure accuracy of estimates;
- Review and analyze project plans, specifications and other documents to develop cost estimates;
- Set-up Respo Matrix together in cooperation with Sales Director;
- Define standard Respo Matrix FAS for different customers and markets together with Senior Manager Application Engineering & Product responsible;
- Nominate resources for project estimation Team together with Senior Manager KAM, Senior Manager Application Engineering and Director Sales;
- Define opportunity checklist together with KAM, knowing competitor price base and define target for Cost of Sales as significant input for Bid / No Bid decision;
- CIP: Implementation of KPI system for performance estimation & proposals (time, costs, quality);
- Support KAM in preparation for commercial clarification meetings and final negotiations;
- Evaluate Risk (ROC) together with KAM and Senior Manager Application Engineeering;
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers.
**YOUR SKILLS**
- Degree in Engineering field;
- Prior experience in similar role;
- Good understanding of technical processes;
- Confident handling of MS Office programmes;
- Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written;
- Availability for occasional travel;
- Accuracy, operational autonomy, organization, good communication and analytical skills
