Junior Draftsman

We are seeking a Junior Draftsman to join our team in Genoa.

The responsibilities of this role will be dynamic and depending on the individual’s background, knowledge and interests
- Performs drafting to accepted company and national standards, e.g., symbols, nomenclatures, engineering terms, etc.
- Performs drafting on energy production projects (P&IDs with AVEVA Diagrams as priority)
- Maintains drafting files, as required.
- Assists in reproduction and distribution of drawings.
- Works closely with process and piping team.
- Produces drawings to support client deliverables and meetings.
- MTOs extractions
- Performs other duties as assigned

This is a busy and varied position that will also see you working on improvement projects across the function.
- Note: This announcement is aimed at people belonging to the Protected Categories (Article 1 -L.68 / 99)_
- High school diploma as Industrial/Mechanical Technical expert or Industrial Designer (even better if achieved within one year).
- Drafting experience with AutoCAD (2D and/or 3D), AVEVA Diagrams a plus (training on job available).
- Proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD, Version 14, 2016 or greater with demonstrated capabilities of producing quality work in an accurate manner.
- Ability to organize work and effectively manage time.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Resourceful when responding to time sensitive situations.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
- Experience with office automation tools (i.e., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.)
- Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills (both Italian and English)
