**Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026** is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 9 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).

Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.

**Position**:
We are looking for **Villages Housekeeping & Laundry Services Coordinator.**

The resource will join our Village-Management Team.

The Villages Housekeeping & Laundry Services Coordinator will be responsible for activities such as:

- Responsible to develop the Housekeeping and House Laundry contractual details, aligned with the Villages needs.
- Responsible to the selection and management of the appointed Housekeeping and House Laundry Contractor, before, during and after Games time.
- Coordinate and schedule housekeeping staff, ensuring adequate coverage for all residential areas and common spaces, adhering to the Games' strict timelines and standards.
- Develop and implement comprehensive cleaning protocols, considering sustainability and environmental impact, to maintain the highest hygiene standards throughout the villages, including in Villages inside existing facilities (e.g., hotels).
- Manage the house laundry operations, overseeing the timely and efficient linens, and other necessary items.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders, including facility management teams and Games organizers, to address any housekeeping or laundry-related issues promptly and efficiently.

**Requirements**:
Essentials:

- Proven experience in a managerial role within housekeeping or facility management, preferably from hospitality industry (e.g., large-scale events, hotels, cruise ships).
- Experience in tender scope and process, including managing multiple services providers/contractors.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills to manage a diverse team and complex operational tasks.
- Knowledge of industrial laundry processes and best practices.
- Ability to work under pressure and adhere to strict timelines, maintaining a high level of attention to detail and quality of service.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with different stakeholders and Games organizers, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.
- Good communication level of English (written and spoken).

Desirables:

- Experience with large-scale events.
- Knowledge of other languages (e.g., Spanish, French, German).
