- Here in ST we are looking for brilliant and motivated safety engineers.
- This hiring position will act for Smart Power RnD group inside Automotive division.
- If you want to be a STar in making the future car safer, this place is for you.
- In the Safety Engineer position, you will be responsible to ensure the compliance to ISO26262 standard of our innovative ASIC and ASSP products, participating in strict contact with IC designers to product development phases.
- In your new role you will:

- perform architecture reviews with main focus on safety related functions
- lead the safety concept definition in strict synergy with product development team
- contribute to safety IP database creation and maintenance (HW and SW)
- characterize safety IPs by mean of diagnostic coverage evaluation and debug fault injection methodologies
- ensure ASIL level compliance through safety analysis (FMEDA, D-FMEA, FTA. DFA)
- propose and deploy efficient safety methodologies to the design team
- build safety related documentation (IC Safety Manual)
- discuss with customers (internal and external) safety related topics
- Ensure correct implementation of ISO26262 standard through confirmation reviews

**Profile**:

- Requested skills are:

- proven knowledge of electronic circuits and components
- knowledge of ISO26262 and Cybersecurity standards
- knowledge of primary safety work-products (FMEA, FMEDA, FTA)
- knowledge of IC development flow
- experience in Office 365 suite usage
- fluent English
- Following skills will be considered a plus:

- Apis IQ sotfware knowledge
- Cadence or similar verification tools
- Matlab, Simulink or Fault Injection tools knowledge- knowledge of automotive AEC Q100 qualification standard
- nowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001 or IATF 16949- inST SafeTy matters
