**FUNDRAISING DIRECTOR**

**Job description**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement fundraising strategies and plans to meet revenue targets through fundraising channels
- Develop and maintain a donor pipeline strategy, including identifying potential major donors, cultivating relationships with current donors, and stewarding donors to increase their giving levels.
- Utilize data analytics to inform fundraising strategies and decisions, including analyzing giving trends, donor demographics, and fundraising return on investment.
- Work collaboratively with the team to develop and manage the annual fundraising budget for the organization
- Monitor and report on fundraising progress and results, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet targets
- Lead, manage and motivate the team to ensure they are meeting performance objectives, including providing ongoing coaching and feedback, conducting performance evaluations, and identifying development opportunities
- Work closely with the team to identify, cultivate and steward major donors, corporate sponsors, and foundations, ensuring that they are receiving appropriate recognition and engagement opportunities
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including board members, donors, and volunteers, to ensure their ongoing engagement and support
- Oversee the planning and execution of fundraising events, ensuring that they are well-planned, executed and cost-effective
- Work closely with the Creative and communication team to develop messaging, collateral and other materials to support fundraising efforts
- Ensure that all fundraising activities are conducted with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Continuously identify and pursue new opportunities for revenue generation through innovative fundraising techniques and channels.
- Conduct prospect research to identify potential donors, including individuals, corporations, and foundations, and develop targeted solicitation plans.
- Plan and execute donor cultivation events and activities, such as stewardship dinners, donor recognition events, and exclusive tours of the organization’s programs and facilities.
- Develop and implement a planned giving program, including identifying potential donors, developing marketing materials, and working with legal and financial advisors to establish planned gifts.
- Collaborate with program staff to develop compelling grant proposals and reports for foundations and corporations, ensuring alignment with Still I Rise’s strategic priorities and donor interests.
- Work with the Finance team to develop and manage the organization’s gift acceptance and acknowledgement policies and procedures.
- Establish and maintain relationships with community leaders, influencers, and elected officials to raise awareness of the organization’s mission and build support for fundraising efforts.
- Develop and implement a volunteer engagement strategy to support fundraising and donor stewardship activities, including recruiting, training, and managing volunteers.
- Monitor and analyze fundraising trends and best practices in the nonprofit sector, sharing insights with the team and incorporating new ideas into the organization’s fundraising strategy.
- In coordination with the relevant Heads of External Affairs, lead the planning and implementation of fundraising strategy in Still I Rise programmes.

**Essential Skills & Requirements**
- Master degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Nonprofit Management, Marketing, or similar areas)
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in fundraising, including experience managing a team of professionals
- Strong understanding of fundraising channels, including major gifts, donor care, corporate giving, grants, events, and community engagement
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful fundraising strategies and plans that have resulted in meeting or exceeding revenue targets
- Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and motivate a team of fundraising professionals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Ability to think creatively and s
