Material Planner

OVERVIEWThe Material Planner is part of the Supply Chain function, and reports to the Procurement & Logistic Inbound/Outbound Manager.At entry/mid level of experience, the Material Planner is responsible for guaranteeing stock materials availabilities according to established production plan. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for guaranteeing proper planning and procurements of raw and semi-finished materials according to production plan Manage suppliers forecast, guaranteeing orders and delivery plan for materials with long lead time Manage and optimize stock and spare parts, leveraging on stock reduction actions Manage delivery delay and related actions to reach production results Responsible of scheduling and materials/components flow, managing timely variances vs planning (delivery time; quality issues; tack time etc.) Plan materials with proper delivery date, release supply order proposal and manage order confirmation Run reports with needed data to monitor internal and external suppliers Monitor KPI, managing variance and implementing improvement actions for servicelevel Work close to sales and shipping functions to resolve issues in handling orders. ABOUT YOUBachelor or Master’s degree in Mechanical/Electronical/Management Engineering 2/4 years of experience in Planning or Procurement roles in industrial companies Previous experience in machine tool or component industry will an added advantage.Good in written and spoken EnglishKnowledge of MRP planning logic and analysis activities of production and suppliesProficient in Inventory management and stock theoryOffice package and ERP (Oracle preferred)Problem Solving and results orientedTeamworking and collaboration skills Project Management skills Note:
