Buyer Raw Material

For our production site in Aprilia, we are currently looking for a **Buyer Raw Material. **The position reports directly to the Procurement manager and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to optimise raw materials sourcing and delivery.

**The role**:

- Participate in cross-functional initiatives to reduce cost and improve service level for both internal (Supply chain, R&D, Finance) and external stakeholders
- Identify costs reduction and risk mitigation initiatives
- Negotiate and monitor prices for raw materials managed locally
- Maintain the full raw materials purchase volumes and price catalogue updated in the ERP system, including lead time and MOQ related information
- Process new suppliers requests through the Financial Shared Services
- Analyse raw material price changes and discrepancies in order to determine financial impact with internal & external stakeholders
- Participate in Quotation Process for raw materials involved running appropriate RFQ, making supplier recommendations and providing best pricing
- Collaborate with Supply Chain Team or other SOT sites to support business continuity in case of shortage or discontinuation of raw materials
- Support R&D in identifying new raw materials, recommending suppliers and ensuring 100% supplier qualification status
- Optimise cash by extending supplier payment terms and/or negotiating term discounts
- Support the Procurement manager with continuous improvement projects and initiatives
- Higher education (Masters or Bachelors) in Business, Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain, or other related fields
- Minimum 3 years experience in procurement, supply chain, or similar functions
- Experience with ERP systems (preferably Oracle or SAP)
- Demonstrated Internal & External stakeholder management (Supply chain, Finance, R&D, external suppliers, etc)
- Fluent in Italian and English
- Ability to negotiate with suppliers to optimise costs & deliveries
