Subregion Merchandiser

**Four Corners** is the business line of AHCG, specialised in recruiting high-profile professionals in the Fashion, Luxury and Lifestyle market. **On behalf of a global leading footwear company,** we are now looking for a:
**Subregion Merchandiser**

With a direct report to General Manager for the Southern European region, the subregion Merchandiser is accountable for stock buying, local pricing, and discount strategy in line with the commercial team for the Subregion.

The Subregion Merchandiser also performs competitor analysis to ensure competitiveness and product benchmark in terms of pricing and styles.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Planning**:

- Conduct merchandise planning for all local stores and wholesale accounts;
- Collaborate with Subregion Finance on budget and DF, including ensuring the accuracy of the stock situation locally;
- Support on prices for the Subregion;
- Perform store segmentation in accordance with the commercial team;
- Perform product grading at the Subregion level in accordance with the commercial team;
- Propose the discount strategy for the Subregion, and prepare discount planning and markdown management.

**Execution**:

- Create a markdown list;
- Ensure adequate alignment with markets and stores within the Subregion;
- Assist in price load;
- Support and organize presentations for the kick-off meetings.

**Analysis**:

- Perform competitor analysis;
- Keep track of in-season product performance;
- Provide post-season feedback to the region;
- Conduct sell-through analysis for the Subregion.

**Requirements**:

- +5 years of work experience, ideally in a product, merchandising, or buying function;
- A passion for footwear and accessories;
- University Degree or Equivalent;
- Experience working in an international and multicultural environment;
- Good Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, PowerPoint);
- SAP;
- Fluent in English and Spanish and Italian would be a plus.
