The Proton Therapy installation project in Rozzano will be the second ProteusONE facility in Milan, developed in collaboration with the Humanitas Research Hospital. This project will feature the newest ProteusOne system, with installation set to begin in early October 2024. The installation is expected to be completed within 12 months, after which the site will transition to customer service mode.

As Site Manager, you are responsible for leading the start-up and the maintenance of the new proton Therapy center

You lead a team of approximately 9 people, and you report to the Project Manager.

**Challenges we trust you with**
- Leading teams who oversee the operations and maintenance of the Proton Therapy site
- Coordinating overall activities with each site and managing priorities
- Ensuring Safety and administrative compliance
- Managing logistics and material aspects and liaising with the subcontractors (supplies, storage, etc.)
- Ensuring the customer’s requirements are met in term of compliance, technical performance, timing and budget
- Ensuring that the company’s Quality and EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) Management system is fully in place during all site activities, generating the expected quality records
- Preparing budget reports, documenting global activities and improvement plans
- Following operational expenditure and approving payments
- Establishing strong communication with the customers
- Supervising the teams and managing high level human resources tasks (career evolution, coaching, performance management)
- Promoting a high performance culture and motivating the team

**What we value**

- A Master degree in engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Electro-mechanics or Mechanics) or equivalent by experience
- A strong people management mindset, proven leadership skills and experience in managing a team in an industrial and/or medical environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Proton Therapy

**Proton Therapy - a more targeted treatment**

Proton Therapy is considered the most advanced currently available therapy and a valuable treatment modality for thousands of adults and children who are diagnosed with cancer. Proton Therapy aims to destroy cancer cells by delivering proton beams to a target tumor. Protons release their energy within the tumor target area while limiting the radiation to the surrounding healthy tissues.
