New products bring new challenges - in the way we source and buy raw materials, in the way we engineer and manufacture, and in our supply chain planning.

Your ‘day to day’:
As a Digital Product Owner Analytics you will be part of Cross-functional OPS department for Philip Morris International and will be reporting to the Sr. Manager Product Analytics. The position will be based in Bologna (Italy).

A key responsibility will be to granulate digital strategy of the function in cooperation with “Digital Strategy Team” and function management, as well to ensure realization of digital & analytics roadmap for the function.

Specific responsibilities include:

- Create business case and assess business value / impact. Prioritize use cases for the function and help to manage the digital products portfolio of function
- Plan for product release with IT and Digital Team. Lead pilot and ensure deployment of digital solutions.
- Develop and implement advanced analytics, data visualization, machine learning, and small-scale automations to accelerate the achievement of function / business objectives
- Coordinate & evaluate user acceptance testing
- Help to confirm business value/benefit with business partnering during idea intake
- Governance of function/category specific adoption. Lead change management and business benefit realization
- Present the developed analytic solutions (architecture, functionality, performance evaluation results) in front of various partners with different background (technical, business, management, etc.).
- Own digital products & life cycle management: Co-develop to POV and support prototype development with Digital Strategy and IT teams. Finalize implementation roadmap & approach. Coordinate in maintenance of digital solutions (testing of changes, solving business issues)
- Drive “learning and innovation on digital” in function. Allocate 10% of working time for novelties on data science, digital technologies in academic and entrepreneurial environment, technology scouting, robotic process automation, analytics techniques to bring digital innovation into function
- Train the partners or help to prepare the contents about the characteristics and capabilities of the data, analytics, automation techniques or technologies to support capability building within function

Requirements & Skills:

- Proficiency in English both oral and written.
- University degree in Engineering or Science (Statistics or Mathematics). Master degree in engineering or science is a plus.
- Field of Computer sciences, data science, automation or equivalent skills through demonstrated experience.
- At least 2 years’ experience in the domain or with use cases of Digital Systems, Data Science, Manufacturing Engineering, Robotic Process Automation or Industrial Internet of Things solutions, preferably as a Product Owner role
- Being an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner is a plus
- Experience in UX UI domain is a plus
- Proven experience in project management both agile and waterfall, certification is a plus
