**FREE LANCE - PROJECT EXPEDITOR - Oil & Gas Industry**
- The selected resource will assist our Client, a premium international group within EPC/Energy/O&G businesses, in monitoring and expediting italian vendors for an important project.
- The activity will require a 60 - 70 Hours / Month effort.**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Contact vendors located in Italy to ensure on-time delivery of products based on purchase orders.
- Visit vendors on weekly basis or need basis to oversee the progress of deliveries. (TRAVEL MODE : TRAIN/BUS/FLIGHT - Economy)
- Visit vendor facility for physical verification of manufacturing progress, understand vendor action plan for expediting & prioritize deliveries
- Escalate any delays in delivery to project management team and ensure timely action/intervention to mitigate any delays
- Arranging conference calls between customer and vendor to resolve critical issues that need customer intervention
- Preparation & submission of vendor visit reports in customer format after each visit
- Working with vendors to solve invoicing issues that could delay critical shipments
- Maintaining constant contact with vendors and shipping companies while deliveries are on route

**Professional Background / Skills (Technical Competency)**:

- Prior experience in expediting multiple vendors (previous O&G experience would be advantageous)
- Strong understanding of manufacturing schedule and related activities with ability to interpret schedules to ensure they are realistic, that required activities occur on time, and that interface between activities is maintained
