Mechanical Inspector Octg

Intertek, a leading provider of ATIC (Assurance, Testing, Inspection and Certification) Services, for its Industry Services Division is looking for Mechanical Inspector with OCTG experience for a project based at supplier in Bergamo area.

**Posizione**:
Provide Mechanical inspection expertise during fabrication conducted as per client specifications and approved documents.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring that vendors are in possession of the relevant contractual documents (e.g. Purchase Order, ITP/QCP, Specifications (Standards, etc.) and adequate tools/equipment to perform the activities per PO requirements,
- Prepare daily or weekly reports,
- Inspect products and manufacturing/testing activities to verify its conformance to specifications,
- Review of the relevant manufacturing/test data and final Inspection Certificates,
- Issue of Inspection Release Notes.

**Requisiti**:

- Proven Experience in conducting inspection activities on OCTG manufacturing process and product (e.g. rolling, heat treatment, NDE and Visual/Dimensional testing on pipe body and threads)
- Fully conversant with the relevant international standards (e.g. API, ISO, EN etc.)

**Qualifications**:

- NDT certificates (level II according to ISO 9712)

**Skills and Requirements**:

- Good communication, coordination, interpersonal skills
- Good computer knowledge
- Professional level of English
- Flexible approach and able to work under pressure with a can - do attitude and a commitment to meeting and maintaining compliance
- VAT registered
