To support the Quality & Refurbishment and Newbuilding departments on all the activities related to the implementation and refitting of the signage on board the MSC Cruise ships.
- Very good knowledge of the Office package (Outlook,World, Excel, Power Point)
- Good knowledge of Adobe Acrobat
- Good knowledge of Illustrator and AutoCad softwares
- Spoken and written English (business fluent)
- Attention to detail, flexibility and teamwork skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving attitude
- Full availability to travel and \/or periods of stay onboard MSC Cruise ships in Italy or abroad
- Works in strict contact with the Quality & Refurbishment and Newbuilding team and MSC Corporate Departments on all projects related to the implementation of the Architectural, Hotel & Cautionary, Safety signage for the newbuilding and contemporary ships
- Prepares documents (Office files, PDF, PPT presentations) linked to the implementation of the mentioned projects
- Controls and analyses the architect drawings related to signage designs and location plans through specific softwares (AutoCad and Illustrator) and with on-site visits at shipyards and onboard the vessels
- Controls and analyses the technical contents of the Artistic and Wayfinding signage books
- Prepares documentation (texts, graphics, translations) for the Digital wayfinding signage
- Prepares briefs for the external consultants and MSC graphic studio (MSC Mediagráfica), that are appointed for the development of the signage designs
- Prepares of the Hotel & Cautionary signage book
- Studies, defines and implements Hotel & Cautionary onboard signage, in compliance with the Corporate Brand Guidelines
- Conducts market research aimed at identifying suppliers and new solutions related to the signage field, in cooperation with the Procurement department.
- On-site visits of the suppliers and quality inspection of the products
- Supervises & coordinates of all signage installations on board
- Processes ship’s requests related to signage maintenance (refitting, replacements etc.)
