Buyer Raw Materials&components

For an international company based in Bassano del Grappa (VI), specialized in the design and production of high-performance hardware products and software solutions, we are looking for a Buyer that will be responsible for purchasing of components, raw materials and sub assembly.

**Mission**

He/se will contribute to implementation of strategies designed to improve business productivity, reduce material costs while improving profitability, quality and innovation, sustaining the Company growth. Drive direct material cost savings through specific sourcing initiatives.

**Main Responsibilities and Activities**
- Forging strong working relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders as R&D, Quality, Finance and Planning;
- Develop the sourcing strategy for the assigned goods categories in supporting Business Strategy : definition, creation, implementation and monitor (PDCA);
- Make detailed and robust spending analysis and supply base strategy definition;
- Perform benchmarking and marketplace analysis across the assigned goods categories;
- Perform negotiation and contract management defining KPI’s and SLA;
- Develop Sustainability targets with key suppliers according to Company’s policies;
- Defining suppliers performance metric and evaluation (Vendor Rating);
- Suppliers Audit;
- Strong involvement and support NPD plan;
**Skills and Experiences required**
- Min 5 - 7 +year experience in purchasing, preferably in structured manufacturing companies
- Mechanical knowledge are preferable even if Economics Degree is fine too
- Perfect understanding and comprehension of mechanical drawing/technical business requirements
- Familiar with Lean Six Sigma and Kanban
- Internal and external negotiation self-confidence
- Organized, proactive and reliable with a continuous improvement attitude
- Expertise in mitigating risks/conflicts, coordination internal/external teams and problem-solving attitude
- Familiar with benchmarking projects
- Communication and presentation skills to all levels
- Fluent English
- Strong Microsoft 365 Office suite knowledge
- Familiar with ERP systems + BI tools
- Available to travel
