**Main Activities and Responsibilities**
- Utilize bioinformatics tools and techniques to process and analyze large-scale genomic, transcriptomic, metabolomic, and proteomic datasets related to neurological diseases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential drug targets by analyzing data to uncover genes, pathways, and cellular mechanisms associated with specific neurological disorders.
- Translate complex bioinformatics findings into biologically relevant insights, helping to guide experimental design and target validation efforts.
- Perform biochemical pathway and network analysis to understand the functionality of identified targets in a specific pathophysiology, decipher molecular interactions, and assess their relevance in disease neurobiology.
- Investigate genetic variations and mutations associated with neurological disorders, assessing their impact on disease risk and progression.**Requirements**:

- University Degree in Bioinformatics or related field (Biology/Biochemistry/Molecular Biology); Ph.D. in Biochemistry or other life science discipline
- Fluent in English both spoken and written.
- (5-7 years) Cross-functional career track record - International experience

**Technical and Soft Skills**:

- Extensive hands-on expertise and deep understanding of transcriptomic methodologies, in particular single-cell sequencing
- Comfortable with relevant bioinformatics software tools
- Comprehensive and effective coding skills
- Innovative, curious, creative, analytical, and proactive.
- Demonstrated skills in collaboration and working effectively with colleagues and collaborators from different functional areas
- Proficiently communicate, elucidate, and demonstrate how bioinformatics techniques can be applied in biological research.
