**Have the responsibility of**:

- Participate to R&D project creation and execution activities, interacting with the internal and external technical-scientific community;
- Manage directly some R&D projects and related activities.
- Implement the R&D organizational plan, managing research activities to solve product problems and enhance or create new product components and equipment/process solutions;
- Oversee the R&D budget, monitors the cost and efficiency of R&D activities so as to optimize resources, defines expenditure priorities and maintains professional standards;
- Report activities status and Forecast plan to PL manager, keeping coordination with Global R&D team.
- Develop and maintain technical experience on breakthroughs and innovations in research and science
- evaluates innovative technologies and give advice to the organization about adequate R&D investments;

**Required profile**
- MSc/PhD in (Applied) Physics, Mathematics or Engineering (Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical, Aerospace) or similar education;
- Previous experience in a Research Centre and knowledge of calculation models and R&D methods;
- Ability to use engineering and calculation software with particular reference to process calculation (e.g. FEM, Fluent, CFD Software, Solidworks etc.)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and conceptual thinking skills, coupled with vision and creativity;
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written;
- Capacity to work in a team and in international environment;
- Able to work independently and proactively;
- Fluent English is mandatory (written and spoken) and additional language is an added value;
